All the money raised by the Abbeville fete goes to supporting local charities. This year our charities are:

Ace of Clubs

The Ace of Clubs day centre is open 365 days a year for homeless and vulnerable people in south London. Each year we serve over 15,000 hot meals and provide more than 3,500 advice sessions to people who use the centre.
Our mission is to meet the basic human needs of homeless, isolated and vulnerable people through a range of high quality and easily accessible services. We have a full inclusion policy.
The centre currently employs two members of staff with many volunteers providing support and we run the centre as efficiently as we possibly can. Our annual budget is approximately £90,000.
Our van is an essential member of the Ace of Clubs team, used every day to collect food pickups from local supermarkets as well as donations for our two charity shops. A donation of £2,400 will let us keep our van running for a year, paying for fuel, insurance, repairs etc.

Church of the Holy Spirit

The Church of the Holy Spirit is the parish church for the southern half of Abbeville Road. Throughout the year it celebrates and preaches the Christian faith to a congregation drawn from about 100-120 people, with intelligent, interesting and entertaining sermons on matters of central importance to all of us. The Church of the Holy Spirit, both the building and the people who work in it, is funded entirely by voluntary giving.
