As you’d expect from Abbeville Road, the Fete is very child-friendly and there’s plenty for small people to see, do and take part in throughout the day. Special events just for children include—

Kids’ Zone
There’s a special area of the fete just for kids! With plenty of games, hoopla, a tombola, candy floss, biscuit decorating and much more.
You’ll find the Kids’ Zone in the Contact Centre. Entry is through the lane on the left side of the church.

Fancy Dress Parade
The fancy-dress parade starts outside Newtons Restaurant on Abbeville Road at 2 o’clock, and finishes outside Treohans, where there will be judging and prizes. The theme is FAIRYTALES AND FABLES. Entrants of all ages are welcome.

Jebb the Juggler
Jebb will be at large during the fete, so keep an eye out for his amazing feats of juggling, spinning and balancing. Jebb’s presence at the fete is sponsored by local estate agency Aspire.

Blueberry Playsongs
Blueberry Playsongs will be running an open-day class at 2 o’clock, upstairs in the Contact Centre. It’s music and fun for under 5s.
